Who is Nao?
I’ve been passionate about alternative ways of learning, living, and loving since I was a child. I call myself a Life Designer—someone who listens deeply to her inner voice and chooses to live a life not defined by the mainstream or by external expectations.
My journey has taken many forms: creating films, hosting programs for Thai PBS, guiding groups as a facilitator, and building homes in harmony with nature. Each experience has allowed me to explore freedom, creativity, and connection in my own unique way.
Through mistakes, courage, and vulnerability, I’ve learned to stay true to myself and to the people around me.
“Binsi!” is my magic word—a joyful spell I use to liberate my life, open new paths, and inspire others to do the same.

The inspiration for Binsi!
Life has shown me that freedom is not a destination, but a way of living. Now I strive to liberate my learning, my living, and my loving and to gently guide others toward the liberation waiting within themselves. This is what Binsi! stands for.
Why liberate learning?
A defining moment came in primary school, when I painted a tree with purple leaves—an image born purely from my imagination. My teacher told me that trees couldn’t have purple leaves and made me repaint it. That small act of correcting my imagination stayed with me for years.
As I grew up, I eventually discovered a real tree with purple leaves, and with it came the realization that the world is always bigger than what we’re taught to believe. This experience sparked my lifelong search for alternative ways of learning—beyond classrooms, across cultures, and through people’s lived stories—until I finally began to shape an imagined school of my own.
Why liberate living?
Just as I was preparing to travel the world to make a documentary, unexpected news pulled me back home—my father had been diagnosed with cancer. My father had always been my greatest inspiration, the one who placed my first camera in my hands and told me, “A camera is not a toy. It’s a vehicle that carries memories and stories to those waiting at home.”
Returning home changed my path completely. In the quiet of the forest, I found a new piece of land. There I moved with my family and planted the seeds of what would become Film Farm School (Suan Silp Binsi!), a place where stories, nature, and alternative learning could grow together.
Why liberate love?
In this next chapter of my journey I discovered that the true source of love is found in peace, freedom, and inner expansion. By letting go of my attachments—my identity, my passions, my profession, even my privileges—I returned to a deeper sense of self. In that letting go, I found my way back to love in its purest form: a love that connects me with the people who choose to walk alongside me.
